Get ready for a day filled with fun, festivities, and community spirit at Goochland Day 2024, happening on Saturday, May 18th. Organized by the Goochland Day Foundation (GDF), this annual event celebrates the rich history, small-town charm, and vibrant community of Goochland, Virginia.

The Heart of the Celebration: Goochland Day Parade

Kick off the day by grabbing a prime viewing spot along the parade route, starting at 10 am from the Goochland Courthouse Green. Expect to be delighted by marching bands, colorful floats, local dignitaries, and more as they make their way through the heart of Goochland.

A Festival for All Ages

After the parade, join the festivities at the Goochland Day Festival, running from 11 am to 3 pm. Explore a diverse array of local vendors offering unique crafts, delicious food, and refreshing beverages. Groove to live music performances, challenge yourself on inflatable rides, and get up close with friendly farm animals.

Families will love the Kid Zone activities, including a 70-foot Vertical Rush Extreme Obstacle, mechanical inflatables like the Hungry Hippo Chow Down, and exciting field games sponsored by Victory Christian Church. Plus, don't miss the chance to pet adorable animals at the petting zoo and enjoy pony rides.

For adults, the Wine Garden offers a relaxing retreat with live bands, hands-on tutorials, and even a mechanical bull for those feeling adventurous. Meanwhile, the Main Stage hosts electrifying live music performances throughout the day, keeping the energy high and the crowd entertained.

Cooling Off and Staying Comfortable

As the day heats up, make sure to visit the Goochland Day Cooling Station, generously provided by H&H Heating and Cooling. Located near the Main Stage area, it's the perfect spot to take a break, hydrate, and recharge for more fun.
